I'm an ERYT 200-level yoga teacher. It gives me great joy to help people learn to become more relaxed and develop greater flexibility and balance. If you live in the Dallas, Texas area, contact me for yoga classes at eblevitt@yahoo.com
However, yoga is just one of my passions.
I have spent the past 25 years as a strategic and innovative public relations/media relations/communications leader with extensive health care experience. I've worked at one of the nation's largest healthcare companies and at two large academic medical centers: Johns Hopkins Medicine and the University of Maryland Medical Center.
In 2016, I will be the chair of the PRSA Health Academy, a professional organization with about 800 members who work in health care public relations.
My strengths include raising awareness of medical expertise and research advances, developing and implementing communications plans, keen writing and editing of news releases, feature stories and other materials, preparing people for media interviews, managing crisis communications and creating video and website content.
Examples of videos I produced for the University of Maryland Medical Center:
Magnet Designation
UMMC Image video (which I narrated at the end).

For 16 years, I produced and hosted Maryland Health Today, a half-hour program featuring experts from the University of Maryland Medical Center. It ran on 11 cable channels throughout the state and we turned it into a video podcast that generated more than 50,000 views each month and many patient referrals. Here's an example of one of the shows.

Let me help you tell your story and connect you in a meaningful way to the audiences that are important to you!
